For the past several months I have been searching for a course worthy of this lifelong milestone. #500 was The Old Course. My dream course was Sand Hills designed by the brillant team of Bill Coore and Ben Crenshaw. Unfortunately, that did not come to fruition, even though at one point I thought I had a chance. Thanks Mike for the effort.
So here I am still muddling around trying to make a decision from a short list of courses that will get me to the finish line. Hoping someone out there in the golf cyperspace comes forward that could get me on a super course in America? I have yet to play any of the US top 10. From the Public top 30 courses I have been to 27 of them. The top two courses in the remaining top 50, that are within a days drive, are The Keep and The Park. I hope to make it to #1000 in the next month.
